I have that happen 30 some years ago I had Dobies and Doxies and they were bred about the same time.T Dobie lost one of her babies so she took one of the Doxie babies to replace the one that had been born but didn’t live.Momma Doxie was MAD and took her baby back.I never knew where to find the baby Doxie.They were both very good mommas.A few weeks later I was blessed with another litter of Dobies.Momma Dobie was glad to share hers with the Doxie unlike her sister Dobie.
