The first few weeks of a puppy’s new life at home are full of wonder and awe. They discover daily obstacles like stairs, and scary monsters like vacuum cleaners.

Not to mention, many puppies will end up sharing their new home with a funny looking sibling who, to the confusion of these pups, is actually allowed to poop in the house.

Cats aren’t always the most welcoming of their new brother or sister, but occasionally we find an individual who is waiting for some company with open paws.

This video is a compilation of the funniest and most adorable times cats met their new puppy siblings. We see everything from a typical “boop-the-puppy’s-head” reaction to some unusually loving responses when these cats first meet their pups.

The puppies, on the other hand, are all very similar in their cautious and curious approach to the unusual housemate they are now sharing their lives with. Play time is the obvious goal for each happy little pup, but will their new cat give in?
