Limbani, a rescued chimpanzee, had pneumonia when he was born. So, he ended up being rejected by his mother.
Tania and Jorge, a couple working with the Zoological Wildlife Foundation, took him in, and raised him with love and care.

With the couple’s round-the-clock nursing and modern medicine, Limbani was able to grow up into a healthy chimp.
Today, he thrives on his own in the sanctuary, but gets surprise visits from Tania and Jorge every few months.
In this video, Limbani is seen slurping a drink with the help of a straw, when, out of the blue, he hears someone calling out his name.
Limbani turns back, and spits out the mouthful of drink in surprise and pure excitement, as he sees Jorge and Tania approaching his way!

Limbani’s happiness knows no bounds, as he leaps to his humans with the tightest hugs. He looks just like a little kid, as he buries his face in Jorge’s shoulders.
His emotional embrace speaks tons about his unconditional love for the couple. This one has left us with tears of joy! What a precious baby!
