Dogs may be man's best friend, but one adorable pooch has become best pals with eight birds and a hamster.

Bob the golden retriever has been taking the internet by storm thanks to these pictures of him snuggling up with his feathered and furry friends and their home in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

He is incredibly friendly, and loves to cuddle with his birds and hamster siblings. Despite their differences in size and coat, these buddies get along perfectly, and enjoy spending their days together.

Their owner, Luiz, captures photos of them in many adorable poses and posts them on their Instagram profile, which has won the hearts of over 200,000 followers.

Bob joined Luiz Higa Junior when he was four months old. Since then, eight birds and a hamster have joined them, happily expanding their family.

Luiz says that the whole crew gets along and has behaved well together since the very beginning.
