I feed my pug ‘Blue Buffalo’ and it has NEVER caused problems. It is rated very highly on dogfoodadvisor.com, so I trust it. I don’t feed my pug the type that is being recalled, and if I did, I would absolutely stop, at least for a little while. I’d like to point out that when I clicked on the link for this article, it took me to a scam page. I’m not saying the recall isn’t real as I looked it up elsewhere, just pointing that out.

I’ve raised 6 pugs on Pedigree (dry and canned). Never once did they have any skin issues. The vet even commented how nice their coats were. They lived to be 13, 13, 14, and 17. I still have two going strong at 9 years old. One still acts like a puppy.

What i dont get is that the big box petstores keep increasing the isles of Blue in dozens of different market driven colorful bags. How about getting quality vendors? Because people buy it I guess.

I give my Chug Purina’s Beyond. Purina has their own testing labs and my Chug, Jake has a beautiful coat. He also gets Beyond canned with his dry kibble or some table food.
